CHECK IT OUT!!
I was inspired by the De Zavala Texas Flag of 1836. This was known as the FIRST official flag of the Republic of Texas, marking the Texas Declaration of Independence of Mexico & the Original Texas Constitution.
Notable Tejano patriot Lorenzo de Zavala is credited as designer of the “Lone Star Flag of the Republic of Texas”.
I first saw a replica of this flag after graduating from LSU and moving to Dallas… it was framed above my friends fireplace! I absolutely loved how tattered, faded, distressed yet regal it looked at the same time. I have seen other “distressed and tattered” replicas at various hotels all over Texas and it just hits me every time how much I love it!!
As Round Top was approaching I wanted to offer something with more of a Round Top vibe (in addition to my “game day” line) while staying true to the “things” I’m impacted by— so here it is!!
I chose a distressed faded blue that will look even better when washed over time! I splashed Round Top in faded red across the front in a jaunty, FUN way!!
The Round Top vibe is simply contagious, so if you live afar and can’t get there, you can just buy the tee!!❤️🩵✨
